Day 1 – Ahmedabad-Jamnagar

The representative of Universal Tours will receive you at the Ahmadabad Airport. From here you will be transferred to Jamnagar. Check in at our pre-booked hotel at arrival. After lunch visit Lakhota Fort. The semi-circular fort is located in the middle of Lakhota Lake. The small museum in the fort is another major tourist attraction. Here you can see sculptures from 9th to 18th Century. Next destination is the famous Bala Hanuman Temple. Stay at the hotel overnight.

Day 2 – Jamnagar-Dwarka

After breakfast leave for the holy town of Dwarka. Visit Bet Dwarka known as the kingdom of Lord Krishna. The main attraction here is the tranquil Dwarkadeesh. The Bet Dwarka has a lot of religious attractions like Jain Temples, Rukmani Temples and Shri Keshavraiji Temple. Next visit Gomati Ghat. The Gomati Ghat is famous for the temple of Lord Shiva and Rama. The last tourist attraction for the day is Nageshwar Temple. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 3 – Dwarka-Porbandar-Somnath

After breakfast leave for Porbandar. On the way visit Kirti Mandir. It is a memorial temple built in the memory of Mahatma Gandhi. Later we proceed to Somnath. Check in at the hotel on arrival. After some relaxation, visit the famous Lord Krishna Temple- Bhalka Tirth. The temple has 18 beautiful marble pillars with chapters from holy Geeta inscribed on them. Next visit the renowned Somnath Temple. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 4 – Somnath-Diu

After breakfast drive to Diu. Check in at the hotel on arrival. Relax and get refreshed. In the evening visit the beach. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 5 – Diu

After breakfast visit Nagoa Beach. Indulge in water sports like rafting, banana boat ride, jet skiing, surfing etc. Next visit Diu Port built by the Portuguese in 1535. After watching the ancient fort, visit Diu Museum. The next tourist destination is St. Paul’s Church. Built in 16 Century the church is a marvellous symbol of Portuguese architecture. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6 – MaDiu – Sasangir

After breakfast, leave for Sasangir, also known as Gir Forest National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary. Get ready to click the majestic Asiatic Lions. Apart from Asiatic Lions, you will also come across four horned antelope, sambar, wild boar, golden jackals, leopards, etc. In the evening enjoy the informative movie on the Asiatic Lion. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 7 – Sasangir-Junagadh-Rajkot

Go for an early morning safari at Gir National Park. Return to the hotel after this. After breakfast leave for Junagadh. Visit the Ashok Rock Edict, and Junagadh Museum, Mahabat Makabara and Uperkot Fort. Later, leave for Rajkot. Check in at the hotel on arrival. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 8 – Sasangir-Rajkot-Gandhinagar-Ahmedabad

Leave early in the morning for Ahmedabad. Visit the tranquil Akhsardham Temple and Gandhi Ashram. With this our tour of Gujarat comes to an end. Our executive will drop you at the airport for onward journey.
